COVID-19: Ontario launches mobile vaccine units for hotspot workplaces in Toronto, York and Peel

In a news conference at Queen’s Park, Ontario Health Minister and Deputy Premier Christine Elliott provides an update on the province's COVID-19 vaccination plan. She is joined by Ontario Solicitor General Sylvia Jones. They announce the province is launching mobile vaccine units for hotspot workplaces located in Toronto, York and Peel. The update comes as Ontario ramped up its rollout strategy this week and expanded vaccine eligibility for residents ages 18 and older in over 100 hotspot areas. By the week of May 24, the province expects to open up eligibility to all adults over the age of 18. (May 5, 2021)
