Crystal Soul Creme (Dark Souls 3's Dark Bead)

Crystal Soul Creme (Dark Souls 3's Dark Bead)

After aaaaages of testing/working on stuff. I've finally managed to make the most broken build in dark souls 3, that's right, it's basically dark bead. If you don't believe me, just watch the video. Anyways, the build is down below, this is just a copy and paste from reddit, just so you guys know: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post-publish edit: I even have a name for this build: The Sweet Spear (c’mon, gimme this, making magic this broken in DS3 wasn’t easy) Level ranges are extremely important, I’ve found, when making a magic build. Too high and hosts/phantoms have enough health to tank it, too low there’s no good spells. But I’ve found the sweet spot, and that’s this build. With this puppy, every phantom you see will die if you hit them. Hosts instantly die 80% of the time as well, so this build is pretty broken. And here it is: Soul level: 44 Starting class- deprived Put all souls into intelligence. Or get everything first with a pve build, and then respec. So you’ll end up with 54 int total. Weapon: Court Sorcerer’s Staff +5 Side arm: Scholar’s Candlestick Headgear: Crown of Dusk Rings: -Magic clutch ring -Young Dragon Ring -Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring -Obscuring ring Spell: Crystal Soul Spear You may be wondering: “Sweetcreems, why should I use the obscuring ring instead of Red Tearstone, or the Morion blade, which have bigger buffs?’ Well I’ll tell you: the problem with magic in this game is that it’s hard to hit. If they see you, they’ll dodge, and your bass cannon won’t land. Red Tearstone Ring, Morion, and even the staff’s channeling ability (Yeah, DONT use the staff’s ability cause the hosts will see it. The damage will be good enough) all have an effect which the hosts can see. This build gives you damage while allowing you to become completely invisible. Sneak up on them and shoot them, and bam, they dead. At this soul level, if you wear good armor, this will also allow you to take some hits, letting you retreat and reposition if they spot you. Obviously, you couldn’t take any hits at 20% hp. So wear the best armor you can. (Also use the binoculars to snipe, trust me, the spear goes far) Make sure you have all 15 estus. 4 ashen and 3 regular seem to be the sweet spot. In the off chance that a host does survive the blast. Bring some firebombs along/lloyds and they will die painfully. If you go any higher SL than this you run the risk of more hosts pumping their health, which means no one shots. I’ve tested this in increments of 4 levels each time, and 54 is the best spot, by far. The best part is is that the only way a host can survive is if they pump health to the point where they hit like wet paper, which is a plus for you. Now go, go, fly my pretties, and try out the new dark bead! Magic has finally become good again! P.S. to any hosts reading this, I’m sorry, but not really. P.S.S Get the ashes which allow you to buy branches for extra surprise. Wait til host’s start fighting and bam! P.S.S.S (last one I promise) To anyone wondering what sort of damage this does. The highest number (I’ve seen) so far on a host with competent armor is 1074. Which, as I’m sure you can guess, instantly killed them. There’s a chance that it could’ve done more, so after playing with it for a while, I’d say this thing does around ~1100 damage (with the hosts wearing armor) per spear. Again, if they’ve leveled health to the moon and have good armor, there’s a chance they’ll survive, but only barely. The most I’ve seen someone have left over after a spear was ~120-something hp, which is what the Lloyd’s and black firebombs are for.
