Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center Feature Story
In 2013, Cathy Holmes organized a grassroots community initiative to launch The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center. Their mission: to conserve and protect threatened and endangered sea turtles through community education and partnered research. Last year, this non-profit rescued more sea turtles than any other organization in the state of Florida, making them Florida's most successful rescue team. This past spring, our Media team recently had the opportunity to travel to Navarre to connect with the people behind the mission. Enjoy!
