Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban - Rescored (Goodbye, Sirius)

The music John Williams wrote for Harry Potter is spectacular. But in the 3rd film, it has flaws. Despite Williams scoring 1-3, the musical continuity disappears in the 3rd film, and we lose many great themes. I have tried to bring some of them back, as well as add in themes that later become important to the series for later musical continuity. This scene had a window of silence in which I snuck the family motif into. The family motif is possibly the most critical tune in the first two movies, but in this film, it is almost entirely covered up by "Window to the Past", which is an excellent family theme as well, but it brings different emotions. I view it more as the Harry & Sirius theme. In this scene, where Harry and Sirius are together before they say goodbye, I bring in the family motif right before it transitions into WttP, to musically tie in Sirius as family.
