CINCINNATI (Adam Clements) -- Every year, Bob Herzog makes an attempt to eat every single item that the Reds unveil at Great American Ball Park. What's going to be on their menu this year? Unfortunately, Bob couldn't make it, so he asked me to step in. Why not?"A tall task indeed, but I was up for it. With delicacies like smoked soft-shell crab sandwiches and steak mac and cheese, I loosened my belt a few notches and got to work.Bob Herzog is regretting that he's not here. This is bacon on a stick, and I'm gonna eat it.From the bacon, it was on to the bratwurst.You know it's good when it has something called Red Dragon Cheese on it. This is the split brat. John Lomax doesn't even like brats, and he says this is pretty good, so I'm gonna trust him and take a big bite. Oh wow. I've just unleashed the "Red Dragon."With a nice pork based base, my belly was ready for the big leagues. Brat-stuffed quail. Check. Gourmet grilled cheese. Check. A French fry station fit for a king. You bet.But flavor infused fruit at the ballpark?Michael Anderson from Great American Ball Park said, "It's a fizzy grape. So we infused it with CO2, and it's got carbonation, so it's almost going to fizzle on your tongue."Rounding third and heading for home. This is murderer's row. We've got our guacamole, we've got our steak and we've got our seafood stand. This will round out the Bob Herzog challenge. If I complete this, I am superior to Mr. Herzog.
