The legislative assembly elections are continuing unabated in Jharkhand and Jammu-Kashmir despite calls for electoral boycotts by anti-national elements in both states. In Jharkhand, Maoists in certain areas called for boycotting polls while in Kashmir separatists and extremists threatened violence in certain regions.
