You must either release the Pokemon or deposit it within your PC. Rule 2: You may only catch the first Pokemon in each route, unless it falls under the Species/Shiny clause. Rule 3: You MUST nickname your Pokemon to create a stronger bond. Rule 4: No reloading/resetting the game Optional Rules Rule 5: No overleveling past the next Gym Leader or Elite 4 Rule 6: Battle Mode Settings: SET (instead of SWITCH) Rule 7: No potions or revives in battle Species/Dupes Clause: The "first wild Pokémon in each area" rule does not apply in an area until a species or evolution line is encountered that has not been caught yet. For example, if the player's first encounter in an area is with a Caterpie and they already own a Caterpie, Metapod, or Butterfree, it wouldn't count as their first encounter in that area. This is to allow for increased variety in a player's Pokémon collection. Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version are 2004 remakes of the 1996 Game Boy role-playing video games Pokémon Red and Blue. The games are part of the third generation(Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) of the Pokémon video game series developed by GameFreak and hold the distinction of being the first enhanced remakes of previous games within the franchise. It follows the same adventures as Pokemon Red and Blue within the Kanto region and your journey to becoming the Pokemon Master.
