No copyright infringement intended. This is the first cut from Meat Loaf's 1986 release "Blind Before I Stop." The album suffered from dated production and even some poor production value, factors that probably hurt its appreciation and sales. Nonetheless, the album has some well written songs on it, songs with passionate lyrics and powerful melodies. This song, "Execution Day" expresses a need and a plea for redemption (perhaps in the face of mortal realization?) and, I think, also expresses an underlying desire to expose and destroy hypocrisy all in the face disillusionment and a painful reality. I tried to make a slide show to go along with the song, but I encountered a technical problem that I do not comprehend. Enjoy the song and ponder the message. The album is still available and is worth purchasing if you can accept its weaknesses in order to embrace its strengths.
