Pepper Plants Blooming? 4 Tips & Tricks to Make a Bumper Crop

I initially fertilize pepper plants at transplanting into the garden, then I don't fertilize until they start blooming and bearing, as the nitrogen in the fertilizer will cause huge plants that don't bloom much. But once they bloom and start setting fruit, they need fertilizer and some support and a little trim to maximize the yield. These plants should bear peppers until frost.
