Imran Khan To Face No-Confidence Motion Again | SC Terms Deputy Speaker's Ruling "Unconstitutional"

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has declared the deputy speaker’s ruling to disallow no-confidence motion against Pakistan PM Imran Khan as unconstitutional. In a unanimous judgment, the Bench set aside the ruling and the dissolution of the National Assembly, which now stands reinstated. Imran Khan's cabinet has also been reinstated. Khan will now have to face the No-trust vote again on April 9. The Bench stated that the assembly must not be adjourned until a vote on the motion is dismissed off. In case, PM Imran Khan is removed by the no-trust vote, the new leader of the house should be elected in the same session. #Pakistan #ImranKhan #NoConfidence Support Independent Journalism.
