CAUGHT IN HEAVY RAIN - SOLO BUSHCRAFT, CANVAS LAVVU TENT, PORTABLE WOOD STOVE.

During the final days of my Bushcraft camping adventure, I found myself in a crazy rainstorm. When I selected my camping spot, the weather forecast predicted dry conditions. I travelled deeper into the forest with my compact car at daybreak. By 7 o'clock, it drizzled softly and escalated in force by noon. Luckily, my Lavvu canvas tent and portable wood stove kept me cosy. I used the stove to cook my dinner. Nights can be eerie in the forest. Predatory animals inhabit the area where I chose to set up camp. These animals include large brown bears, packs of wolves and wild boars. As a precaution, when I stopped filming, I blew my whistle and shouted loudly. If you plan on camping in an area with wild animals, it is important to pay close attention to any sounds in the forest, especially the slightest of crunching sounds. After finishing my camping trip, I made sure to leave my campsite clean and tidy. Thanks for watching and be sure to tune in next week for more videos!
