CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The family of Kyle Plush released a new statement a day after city council heard findings of the police investigation into his death. On Tuesday, the family clarified that members did not ask for an independent investigation during Monday's meeting. The family wanted answers to a list of specific questions about what went wrong when plush called 911 for help, twice before suffocating while trapped under a seat in the back of a van near Seven Hills School. The Plush family says their questions were not answered. City council later decided to go forward with an investigation by an independent agency, but no one has said what agency would conduct the probe. Tuesday's statement says the Plush family supports that plan if that is what it takes to get answers.
