Entei + Talonflame HEAT Up The META | Pokémon TCG Pocket What's Up Guys Team Aqua Grunt: Spirit Crusher. We are here gathered on this new grand day of Secluded Springs ! Featuring the legendary dogs of Raikou EX, Entei EX, and of course the almighty Suicune EX. Today we play Entei EX with the firebird themselves intorudcing the almighty TALONFLAME ! Talonflame has 130 HP and does 50 for 1 singular energy plus burn damage of 20 per turn with only the first burn guaranteed. Entei EX has 140 HP and does 60 damage for 2 energy plus another 6 for 4 energy. These pokemon synergize quite well with each other as Entei helps draw into Talonflame and Talonflame is cool because it only requires one energy to attack. So basically we can hope to start Entei then by the time our luck runs out with Entei EX we have somewhere to go with our Talonflame and for the cheap of just one energy. This deck is good for quite a lot of support as it has Sabrina, Cyrus, Repel, Giant Cape, Lillie, Silver and Red. On top of 2 rare candy, 2 poke balls, and two Professor's Research. Sabrina, Cyrus, Repel has been my new favorite combo to play and I fit it in anywhere I can, here indeed as well, to move our opponent around as we see fit and force him into situations he doesn't always want to be in. Lillie worked out quite well saving us in a match with Talonflame for some healing allowing us to attack an extra turn. Giant Cape helped us stay out of range as well. Then Silver to just to scope it on out ! The deck gets a solid 7.6 out of 10. It works well and draws well into Talonflame, then with the included Lillie you can really live off Talonflame. I found when earlier testing Entei with cards that the main problem it faced was that once it was KO'd there was no place to go for a simply cost, nothing could be ramped simulteounsely as we are always chasing 4 energy to max out Entei's attack. So Talonflame with the single energy attack on a high HP pokemon that we can further support seems likes. great idea to me and it worked quite flawlessly good deck I would say it lacks some high end output because rarely can you reach Entei's 120 but other then that a solid and consistent deck.
