Yeshua in the Seder. To a non-believer the accuracy of the 3 days and 3 nights might not be a way to convince them of the bigger issue:The real message is that they are sinners and they need a Savior or they are going to Hell for all of eternity. Pasach is the Hebrew word for Passover. pesaḥ פֶּסַח Peasah can also mean to speak to open your mouth and speak. Traditionally Pesach is used to mean Passover, to skip over to spring over to Pass over. It first appears in EXO 12. The Hebrew word Seder means “order.” Water turning to blood.Frogs.Lice.Flies.Livestock loss.Boils.Hail.Locusts.Darkness.The Killing of firstborn children. 1COR 5:7, 7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. As the first Passover was to be held in remembrance as an annual feast, recalling the freedom from slavery, so Christians are to memorialize the LORD’s death in communion until HE returns (1COR 11:26). The OT Passover lamb, although a reality in that time, was a mere foreshadowing of the final Passover Lamb, Jesus Christ, Yeshua. 1PET 1:20-21, 20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. [that is the Church-age]. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. ISA 53:4-6, Surely He took on our infirmities and carried our sorrows; yet we considered Him stricken by God, struck down and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. It has sections so that each piece is separated from the others, while all of them are inside the pouch in unity. The three pieces of matzah are a perfect representation of the Trinity. 3 persons all sinless and in one 3 distinct persons in one. The salt water represents the tears shed during the bitter years of slavery and the Red Sea that GOD split during the exodus. It represents the tears of one in slavery, to remind us we were saved by HIS Grace, and that causes tears of joy. That is what sin does, a sinful lifestyle will keep us from GOD, not that HE left us, but we leave HIM. We leave th plan of GOD and enter into the bitter world, it is bitter ultimately. For Christians, the bitter herbs represent our present trials and afflictions caused by our commitment to righteous living and walking in Christ’s footsteps. These bitter experiences even inside the plan of GOD, remind us that the world is still in bondage to sin and death, and to the great adversary Satan just as we were at one time. GOD foreshadowed that the Cross of Christ enables one to drink the water of life. Yeshua’s death on the tree, the Cross became the solution to the bitter waters of life. HE Yeshua is the water of Life and a sweet water as well. When we understand that Yeshua’s sacrifice is the fulfillment of the Passover lamb, we can look to other features of the Passover for additional lessons and applications and illustrations. MAT 6:19-21, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” ROM 8:18, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. It was the blood of the lamb applied to the lintel and side posts of the doorways that gave protection to those in the home when GOD judged the land of Egypt through the slaying of the first-born.Just as the Passover lamb was taken from the flock, the Messiah would come from the congregation of Israel. HE would be born in Bethlehem, the house of Bread (I am the bread of life), from the house of King David (the Davidic Covenant). Born in a tower of the flock in Bethlehem house of bread to Micah. The first glass is the cup of “sanctification.”The second is the cup of “judgment.” The third is the cup of “redemption.” And the fourth is the cup of “praise.” At the Last Supper, Yeshua took the first cup and promised HIS disciples that the next time HE drank the fruit of the vine with them would be in the kingdom. Later, Yeshua took the third cup, The cup of redemption—and used that cup as a symbol of the New Covenant in HIS blood. Notice HE did not take the second cup…for HE was about to fulfill that cup by going to the Cross. The judgement for those who did not do not believe will experience the judgement.
