Amazing Grace - Basic Piano Accompaniment Patterns; Part 1. tutorial in improvisation (Beginner)

This short lesson describes a basic 1-5-8 left hand piano accompaniment pattern. The hymn "Amazing Grace" is used as an example here in the key of G. G major (chord is G B D): The 1-5-8 pattern that we have chosen is G D and G (octave up). The 3rd (B) is not part of this pattern - note that a chord note can be omitted in a pattern.
