Trail's End Straight Kentucky Bourbon (Finished with Oregon oak): The Single Malt Review

While wood finishes are commonplace in Scotch Whisky, it's unusual to see a Bourbon get a similar treatment. It doesn't seem to have done this one any harm however, producing a Bourbon with more fruity and sappy flavours than one would normally expect from only eight years old.
