How to Create a Smooth Scrolling Text Effect in Canva

Step 1: Open Canva and create a new video project Step 2: Click the "Text" button in the left toolbar to add a text box Step 3: Type your desired text and customize: Choose a clear, readable font Set text color that contrasts with your background Step 4: Position your starting text: Use alignment guides to center vertically Place on far right side of canvas Step 5: Duplicate the page by clicking the duplicate icon above the canvas Step 6: On the duplicated page: Select the same text element Drag it to the left side Step 7: Click the page thumbnails icon to view all slides Step 8: Add transition between slides: Hover between the two slides Click the add transition button Select "Match and move" from the options Set duration to 2-3 seconds Step 9: Set slide timing: Click the clock timing icon Set duration to 3 seconds Click "Apply to all" for consistent timing Step 10: Preview your animation using the play button Now your text will smoothly scroll across the screen!
