Halloween Prop Shop 2006 "The Study PT-2" Haunted House Attraction in Buffalo NY

Buffalo NY, Oct 13th, 21 inches of snow falls in a 14-hour period. 100 Year Old Trees with full bloom fall victim to the immense weight of the wet snow downing power lines in a 300-mile radius. Leaving Buffalo & Suburban residents without power in 90% of its homes & businesses. A National State of Emergency was issued due to loss of power & telephone, some folks are still without power & over 10,000 Verizon customers are still without service and it is now Nov 1st. Halloween was called off in many areas because of the tens of thousands destroyed trees lining the sidewalks for miles on end. Well, needless to say Halloween Prop Shop (HPS) was a small causality in this may lay. We suffered structural damage, loss of enclosures that were just erected, we had extensive prop damage as well. Yet with the help of some good friends, HPS put together a small yet effective haunt in just 48 hours. It was nothing compared to the 1000 sq feet we were set to unleash. We are just happy to not to have disappointed the 400 plus that showed up last night, we thank you for your thoughts, as most regulars expressed concern not knowing what to expect after such a devastating storm that ruined a lot of haunters efforts this year.
