How to Download Audible Books on iPhone or iPad

If you're listening to an Audible audiobook and you want to make sure you'll be able to keep listening wherever you go, Audible lets you download your audiobooks to your iPhone or iPad through the Audible mobile app. The Audible mobile app is free, and the process to download your audiobooks to your device only takes a few minutes. Step 1. Download the Audible app from the App Store on your iPhone or iPad if you don't have it installed on your device already. Tap to launch the Audible app, and then sign in if prompted. You'll arrive at the home screen for your Audible account. Step 2. Tap "My Library" in the row of icons along the bottom of the screen if that option isn't selected already. A list of Audible audiobooks you own appears on the screen. Any audiobooks that aren't downloaded to your device will have a book cover image that's slightly grayed out and a down-pointing arrow in the lower right corner of the book cover image. Step 3. Tap the down-pointing arrow in the lower right corner of the book cover image associated with one of the title's you want to download to your iPhone or iPad. The cover image will become dark, and the outline of a white circle will appear over the top of it. The inner part of the circle will slowly start to become entirely shaded white as the audiobook is downloaded to your device. You can also track more detailed download progress beneath the title to the right of the image. The white circle will disappear immediately after the download is complete, and the book cover image will appear in full color with no down-pointing arrow in the lower right corner of the image.
