Family mourns loss of 12-year-old CCSD student in deadly crash with bus
On Monday, 12-year-old Haylee Ryan died after a school bus collided with her while she was riding her bicycle. Her family identified her following this tragic incident near Bradley Road and W. Tropical Parkway. Now CCSD superintendent Jhone Ebert is offering condolences to everyone impacted by the tragedies. “We need immediate action with the community's help to protect our children. We need everyone's help. Both of these students had unlimited potential, potential they will never have a chance to realize. This is not only a loss for our students, families, and siblings. It's a loss for their teachers, their classmates,” said Ebert.
