Here I have come to u guys with my new video Basanti pulao recipe in bengali.. mashi bari berate gelam.. and we have gone to Siraj park at barasat.. there we have enjoyed a lot.. those pictures of the park i have shown here to u guys.. hope u will like this video.. in this video i have also shared the recipe of basanti pulao which I have made at my mashi's place.. recipes were basanti pulak,mutton kosha,macher jhol,chatni,rasgulla,ice cream etc.. we have gone to a cute little cafe there (newly made) with so yummy dishes,we have eaten egg dominator chicken roll and sawarma there.. and those foods were as delicious as it should be at its best... mmmm still i can smell those foods...so yummy i must say..the name of the new cafe is "ki khabo".. so guys try those fast foods there.. and we have gone to a grocery store there..so guys please watch this video..hope my friends will like this video... thank you guys..love The new name is siraj uddan,named in the respect of the last nabab of free bengal. The park attached with toy train, boating and many more sculpture. Good place to hang with friends and family.. The Hati Pukur Park or Siraj Uddyan in Barasat was closed for many years. This year, the famous Hati pukur park in Barasat is reopened for all with new gorgeous decorations and attractions. In Barasat, another attraction is Hastings house opposite the Kachari maidan. Let’s explore one by one. The history is, Bengal’s last Mughal Nabab Sirajudullah was handling the responsibility of statehood in Bengal. Nawab had lived in Murshidabad; sometimes, Nawab has to come to Kolkata for many political reasons. Nawab went to Kolkata through Barasat. When Nawab Comes to Kolkata, soldiers, elephants, and houses come with him. On the way to Kolkata, they take a rest in Barasat. The elephants and horses are tired in this journey. Soldiers dug a pond to solve the drinking water problem. It is said elephants are drink water from this pond. After that, the pond is called Hatipukur. In Bengali, Hati means elephant. So the pond has a historical value, but lack of initiative to renovate this pond, and the whole area was neglected. In recent times the West Bengal government took the initiative to build a park in Barasat. Now the whole park is named Siraj Uddyan. The park was inaugurated on January 12, 2019. The park entrance, a palace-style arch, and well-decorated models of elephants, horses, and sworders are showing. After entering the park, there were Statues of Siraj ud daulah. For the children, many amusement arrangements in Barasat Sirajuddin park-like swing, slide, playground, etc. In the park, you can enjoy boating, the toy train ride, etc. There is an artificial island in the middle of the park. A bridge is made to go there. The bridge is a copy of London Tower Bridge. On the island, a pagoda is made with seating arrangements. You can see an old- tree which was burned a few years ago by lightning. The park authority doesn’t cut the tree, but they made a sculpture on the tree. Light and sound shows are available every evening from 6 pm to 7 pm. A cafe is being prepared for visitors. As per the plan, the government will build an auditorium and art gallery in the future. Hati pukur park or Siraj uddan in barasat ticket price The entry fee is 15 rupees per person. Toy train fee is 10 rupees per person. The boating fee is 20 rupees per person. The camera fee is 50 rupees per person. Children below five years of entry fee are free. Hatipukur in Barasat Park Opening Time Siraj Uddyan or Hati pukur park Barasat opening time is 12 noon to 8 pm. The ticket provides till 7.30 pm. Note –Barasat Hati pukur park Light and sound shows timing is 6 pm to 7 pm. No additional charge for the Light and sound shows till now. How to reach Siraj Uddyan Hatipukur Park in Barasat From Sealdah Station, regular local trains are available for Barasat in ½ hour intervals. Get down to the Barasat station and come to the 1 number platform ticket counter. From there, it’s 5 minutes walking distance. You can take a toto van from there to the park. By bus, it is easy to reach the Hati pukur park Barasat. It is located beside the Titumir bus terminus. Take a bus for Barasat and get down to the Titumir bus terminus and reach Siraj Uddyan Hati pukur Park Barasat within 10 seconds.
