KOOTENAI CO., Idaho -- Six members of the white nationalist group Patriot Front pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from their June arrests. They were arrested for conspiracy to riot after being found in the back of a U-Haul van ner a Pride celebration in the area. Court records show the members in the U-haul had metal shields, metal poles, a smoke grenade and documents outlining their plans for confrontation near the CDA Pride event. All 31 members across 11 different states posted for the $300 bond back in June. The six men who appeared in court were Mishael Joshua Buster, Josiah Daniel Buster, Connor Patrick Moran, Justin Michael Oleary, Derek Joseph Smith and Dakota Ray Tabler. They will all hire private attorneys. All six men appeared in court on Zoom after the court originally requested that the first appearances be in person back in June. A judge told the men today, they could face up to one year in prison, two years probation and/or a $5,000 fine for the misdemeanor charge. The prosecutor didn't make any comment to the judge after all six gave a not guilty plea. City attorneys say they aren't expecting to add more charges at this point. The presence of a white nationalist group in the Lake City has Coeur d'Alene's legal team thinking about the past. A city attorney says they haven't had to prosecute cases like this since the 90's when neo-nazi's were in the region. Other members of the group are set to appear in court on their charges in the coming weeks. ►Subscribe: / 4newsnow ►Website: http://www.kxly.com ►Twitter: / kxly4news ►Facebook: / kxly4news
