I felt a bit bored today. So, I went to play some Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2. You could say this is my preparation for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl which is published by GameMii Entertainment, the same company who published both Nick Kart Racers games. Now that I have managed to unlock everything in that game, I have no reason to go back to it. So, to make my last moments with the game worthwhile, I've decided to share with you all my last gameplay with the game, using all 30 of the racers and in all 30 tracks and arenas. Doesn't really matter if the character matches that level or not (that was the idea at first that idea got dropped because some of the franchises have more tracks than characters and vice versa. For example, there are four Spongebob racers but only three Spongebob tracks and there is only one Avatar character (two if counting Korra) but two Avatar tracks (four if counting Korra) (perhaps they could remove one Avatar track, one Korra track and replace the Double Dare track with something else and also include an extra track for Spongebob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Rugrats and Hey Arnold. In the meantime, enjoy this little mini gameplay series I've uploaded. Racer: Spongebob Squarepants Chief Crew Member: Mr. Krabs Crew Members: Garry the Snail and Mrs. Puff Track: Ba Sing Se (Avatar: The Last Airbender) Thoughts on Racer: Ah yes, Spongebob Squarepants, one of, if not the most recognizable character in all of Nickelodeon. Like Mickey Mouse to Disney and Bugs Bunny to Warner Bros, Spongebob is often the first thing to pop in people's heads when they think about Nickelodeon. In fact, you CAN'T have a Nickelodeon crossover game without Spongebob's involvement (unless it was before 1999). I remember watching the show a lot as a kid and in my teen years, and I still take a peak at some of the newer episodes every once in a while. It is a shame that the creator of the show, Stephen Hillenburg passed away at a young age. As far as I'm aware, he was a picky guy. Aside from several video games, as a couple of easter eggs like in the Loud House and Patchy the Pirate's appearance in Big Time Rush, Hillenburg wasn't a big fan of the idea of Spongebob in a crossover. He wasn't also a fan of the idea of a Spongebob spin off. When Kamp Koral was announced, a few months after his death, Paul Tibbitt believed it was disrespecting Hillenburg's wishes, although Vincent Waller said that Steve was aware of Kamp Koral in its early stages. I took a peak at it and while it has more of a narrative than the original Spongebob, its comedy and slapstick pales in comparison. Nevertheless, Spongebob still is an important key factor in Nickelodeon's history and it will still carry on for a long time. Maybe the Loud House will one day overthrow Spongebob and become Nick's new mainstay. Thoughts on Track: Honestly, I thought the track was a bit too basic, especially for the theme of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I expected a bit more elemental bending involved. With the other Avatar tracks, they at least have some mystical elements added in. Here, it looks more like a Kung Fu Panda track than an Avatar track.
