LA Sideshow Takeover Crew Shuts Down Streets!! Doughnuts and Cops Ram People

This video is a little different from our car tours and house tours. I met up with one of my homies who worked at Tesla with me to go out on the streets of Los Angeles at night to check out some of these takeover meets. Part of LA's car culture has always been these side shows, where performance car enthusiast come, block off an intersection with cars, then go crazy like there are no rules at all. The location goes out to us via IG and next thing you know an unsuspecting intersection in the city becomes a Formula Drift event. These drivers really have balls, sliding several hundred horsepower cars through intersections with their homies hanging out of the car, all while risking their cars, licenses, and lives. I have yet to see one of these events where someone doesn't get their car damaged. Drag racing has always been my background, but these guys in LA really are bringing the adrenaline level up for a "parking lot" car meet. It's crazy to see how chill the group can be in the parking lot before they leave for the first spot. Then they turn into the devil emoji as soon as the tires start burning out. While at the first spot I saw some of the wildest group of drivers I've seen yet, with a full car of people hanging out the window while the cars drift tandem through the intersection. Once the police arrived to the scene of this event, a very aggressive officer rammed his car into the group of people blocking the outsides of the intersection. We saw one person literally flying off the hood of the police car as it came into the intersection and everyone started running from the police. It was crazy to see one officer take it to that level of ramming cars and running people over. The group was not having that though, at some point they attack the police car destroying it, and making them literally take off from the intersection for their own safety. Something about these meets reminds me so much of The fast and the furious 1 where seemingly unorganized racers took over the streets in an amazingly organized matter to block out police and do exactly what they want on the streets.
