Cabinet arrivals, Syriza members meet

(21 Jun 2015) Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras held an emergency cabinet meeting in Athens on Sunday to hammer out the country's strategy ahead of Monday's European Union summit. The summit could prove decisive for Greece's future in the bloc's common currency. The ruling left wing Syriza party is divided between reaching a deal with the country's creditors even if that means climbing down from its pre-election pledges and those who are urging the government not to compromise. These divisions within the party were to be addressed at a meeting of Syriza members also in Athens on Sunday.
