Class 7th ncert geography chapter 3 | Our changing Earth @edutropism Internal and External Forces:- The Earth’s surface is shaped by internal (endogenic) and external (exogenic) forces. Endogenic forces cause sudden movements like earthquakes and volcanoes. Exogenic forces include weathering and erosion caused by wind, water, and ice. Earthquakes and Volcanoes: These are sudden events resulting from internal movements of the Earth. Earthquakes are caused by the movement of tectonic plates. A seismograph records earthquake waves; the Richter scale measures their intensity. Major Landform Changes: The Earth's surface is constantly reshaped through: Weathering – breaking down of rocks. Erosion – removal of materials by agents like water, wind, and glaciers. Deposition – laying down of materials to form new landforms. Work of a River: Rivers erode valleys, form waterfalls, meanders, oxbow lakes, floodplains, and deltas. Work of Sea Waves: Sea waves erode coastlines to form sea caves, arches, stacks, and beaches. Work of Wind: In deserts, wind creates landforms like sand dunes and loess deposits. Work of Glaciers: Glaciers carve out U-shaped valleys and form moraines.    • Class 6th NCERT Geography      • class 6 civics ncert      • Articles playlist      • Species in News      • Ncert Science class 6th      • Short tricks      • Class 6th history      • Constitutional Amendment      • Class 7th geography   class 7 geography chapter 3 our changing earth ncert class 7 geography chapter 3 chapter 3 our changing earth ncert class 7 geography chapter 3 notes ncert class 7 geography our changing earth class 7 geography ncert ncert class 7 geography our changing earth class 7 geography chapter 3 our changing earth question answer our changing earth class 7 geography chapter 3 class 7 ncert class 7 geography chapter 3 our changing earth class 7 geography chapter 3 notes #class7 #ncert #geography #class7geography #edutropism
