Two persons were killed in a fire that engulfed a residential building early Sunday morning in central China’s Hunan Province, local fire department said. The fire broke out at around midnight, with black smoke spotted shooting out from the roller shutters of a residential building at around 00:56 in Guangfa Town, Jiahe County. A roadside surveillance camera footage shows a few people trying to break open the shutters before naked flames came out but failed. The fire grew bigger and bigger and in the end ran out of control. A few people were confirmed trapped on the second floor. Firefighters arrived at the site at around 01:20. While controlling the fire on the first floor, firefighters used a ladder to rescue the trapped on the second floor.
