Silver and gold have suffered through a period of rapid decline, inflation running wild was supposed to be good for the precious metals, and while the official rate of inflation Still Remains below 10%, many analyst Peg the real rate of inflation closer to 20%, but this is with the benefit of a strong dollar, what would the inflation rate be if the dollar had not appreciated in value against the Euro and Yen by almost 20% over the last year, we could easily have an inflation rate close to 30% as we are heading into a deep recession.
