IN BETWEEN THE WHITE SPACES Week #91, Lesson 255 Tuesday, December 16, 2025 Foundational Scripture: Proverbs 4:23 Today's Scripture: Ephesians 4:26-27 ..Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: neither give place to the devil.” Today's Topic: "ANGER" Points: Foundational principle: “what you don’t train emotionally, you will (eventually) attempt to excuse spiritually. Thus, scripture calls us to maturity, not emotional denial” “anger must be managed before it masters you.” We must begin to consider the end results of our unchecked and unbridled anger—so that we make better decisions about our actions, while working and waiting to become a better us. “what are you protecting when you get angry—and when it’s all said and done—is it worth the cost?” 1) ANGER IS NOT SINFUL, but it can become dangerous when untrained..(vs. 26a) “Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry—but don’t use your anger as fuel for revenge……..” 2) UNCHECKED ANGER BECOMES A DOORWAY FOR SPIRITUAL, RELATIONAL, AND EMOTIONAL DAMAGE……… “And don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life. 3.There's a difference between righteous anger and reactive anger “LEARNING TO CONTROL YOUR EMOTIONS: Training What We Feel So It Doesn’t Trainwreck What We Do” Proverbs 4:23
