NATHAN’S CHILI CHEESE DOGS AND FRIES ON THE BLACKSTONE E SERIES WITH PRO TIPS

Today I'm outside cooking Nathan's chili cheese hotdogs and fries on the Blackstone E Series electric griddle. In the video I explain tips on how to speed up cooking time and how to protect your griddle from warping. Easy chili cheese dogs topped with your favorite toppings. Shopping List: Nathan's Hot Dogs Nathan's frozen French fries Nathan's Hot Dog buns Butter Cooking oil Hormel chili, no beans Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste Shredded cheddar cheese Toppings of your choice sweet pickle relish, onions, etc) Condiments of your choice (Yellow mustard, ketchup, mayo etc.) PRO TIP: WHENEVER COOKING FROZEN FOODS ON THIS GRIDDLE, IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO LET THE FOOD SET OUT UNTIL NOT FULLY FROZEN BEFORE ADDING TO A HOT GRIDDLE. DOING OTHERWISE MAY WARP THE GRIDDLE. Directions: Let the frozen fries set at room temperature until not fully frozen. Using a sharp knife, make shallow cuts on both sides of the hot dogs about 1 inch apart. Heat the chili and keep warm. Preheat griddle to 500 degrees Once the griddle is pre-heated, add some oil then add the semi thawed fries and arrange on a single layer. Season with seasonings. Cook about 10-12 minutes then flip and cook until lightly browned and crispy. Remove to a container and keep warm. Reduce the temperature to 450 and add the hotdogs. Cook until lightly charred and warmed through, flipping halfway. Add butter to the griddle and toast the buns. When toasted, flip buns and add the dogs and cheese. Close the lid and allow the cheese to melt.
