It’s just a matter of when and where. It’s a shame because she is definitely a worthwhile character, especially in remaking Negan and being part of his arc. Plus, she is such a badass fighter, played so well by Medina Senghore. For me, Annie elicits a softer yet still strong version of Pam Grier’s Foxy Brown. I’ve always believed the reason Negan and Maggie leave the group for New York City is because of family, i.e., Annie and Herschel, who have been kidnapped (probably by the CRM). It is on the way to or in the city that she dies/gets killed. Or I could be totally wrong and she dies in of the last remaining TWD episodes. Either way, it's great suspense! I added Negan’s response to the prior Annie video. This response, based on Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s tweet earlier this year that evil is returning, is his reverting back to “old school” Negan.
