The Flaming Lips - Live at the Monolith Festival in Morrison, CO (September 15, 2007)

The Flaming Lips perform live at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado as part of the Monolith Festival (09/15/2007). This show features a rare performance of The Rolling Stones' "Moonlight Mile." This took place during the brief period in 2007 where "Riding To Work In The Year 2025" was reintroduced to the setlist. "She Don't Use Jelly" was on the setlist sheet, but not played. Per PsychiatricExplorations: "This performance was advertised to be a UFO Show, but this was changed at the request of the festival promoters due to the additional costs of setting up the UFO and the low ticket sales for the event. During the set, Wayne made up a story about Homeland Security impounding the UFO to explain its absence. Wayne attempted the bubble walk during Ta Da!, despite the amphitheater sloping down towards the stage. He came out a short ways into the pit area, supported by the group of Santas, crew members, and others. A visibly drunk Anton from The Brian Jonestown Massacre started shouting at Wayne from the pit below the stage before being removed. Wayne responded that he 'didn't want any trouble'" (you can see this at 41:18) This show was taped by Derek 'Drock' Dubuque.
