Pokemon Soul Silver Walkthrough Part 40 It's time for the Elite Four! I trained to 45 for this. I would suggest at least 43-46, but 50 is good if you want to be safe. I trained to 45 so that Skarmory could learn Night Slash, which will be very helpful in this fight: Boss Fight: Will Xatu Level 40 Psychic/Flying (Weak to Ice, Electric, Rock, Ghost, Dark) U-turn Me First Confuse Ray Psychic Jynx Level 41 Psychic/Ice (Weak to Fire, Rock, Steel, Ghost, Bug, Dark) Lovely Kiss DoubleSlap Psychic Ice Punch Slowbro Level 41 Water/Psychic (Weak to Electric, Grass, Bug, Ghost, Dark) Curse Amnesia Water Pulse Psychic Exeggutor Level 41 Grass/Psychic (Weak to Fire, Flying, Bug 4x, Poison, Ice, Ghost, Dark) Psychic Hypnosis Reflect Egg Bomb Xatu Level 42 Psychic/Flying (Weak to Ghost, Dark, Ice, Electric, Rock) Confuse Ray Ominous WInd Aerial Ace Psychic Strategy: Xatu Level 40 - This Xatu will annoy you with Confuse Ray and Me First, then damage you with Psychic and U-Turn. It is very irritating. Watch out for Me First - it will haunt you. Jynx - Jynx is also an annoyance with Lovely Kiss, which isn't lovely at all. It has AWFUL defence, so you're pretty much guaranteed to OHKO it with a Physical Attack. Slowbro - Another annoyance. With Curse and Amnesia, it can make you do 1 damage each turn. If you have Roar or Whirlwind, use it if it gets up too many Defence boosts. Exeggutor - Yet another annoyance Pokémon. It is weakest to Special Attacks and is very slow. If you hit it with a nice Flamethrower, it will probably die. Bug works really well too. Xatu Level 42 - The last Pokémon, and another annoyance Pokémon with Confuse Ray. It will stall you with Confuse Ray and use Ominous Wind, hoping for a stat boost.
