Today, the largest trout are in the center of the lake, and reaching them will require long casts, precise techniques, and the right equipment. In this episode, we're in Vigasio, in the province of Verona, at the splendid Al Molin Lake, for a lake trout fishing session that promises to be anything but easy. Recent rains have made the water murky, and this condition has altered the behavior of the salmonids in the lake. In winter, large trout often tend to move close to the shore, but today the situation is different. Aerial drone footage immediately reveals an unexpected scene: the largest specimens are stationed in the center of the lake. To reach them, medium-long rods, up to 3 meters, with powerful actions capable of long casts and great control during the retrieve are needed. Daniele begins the session with a Trabucco Fat Worm soft bait, paired with a maracas to extend the cast and generate vibrations and noises to attract the trout's attention in cloudy water.
