Group Violence Reduction Strategy: An Introduction

GVRS, or the Group Violence Reduction Strategy, aims to address the norms perpetuating violence in Baltimore by focusing resources on individuals identified as being at the highest acute risk of involvement in non-fatal shootings and homicides. The program is being launched in partnership with the City of Baltimore, the Baltimore Police Department, the Baltimore State's Attorney's Office, and community-based organizations.
