Biden meets diners, speaks at Iowa campaign event

(12 Jun 2019) Former Vice President Joe Biden has wrapped up a campaign trip to Iowa. The democratic presidential candidate began Wednesday in Eldridge, where he chatted up diners at a local café and posed for selfies. Later, he addressed supporters at a community college in Clinton. He delivered remarks on education and President Donald Trump's refusal to acknowledge climate change. Trump has zeroed in on Biden as a threat to his reelection chances and is testing themes to keep him at bay. Biden, meanwhile, is campaigning as a front-runner with almost universal name recognition. Both men campaigned in Iowa on Tuesday.
