At least 140 migrants escape Libyan smugglers

140 East African migrants have escaped from Libyan smugglers holding them captive near a town called Bani Walid. According to a local source and a U.N. report, the migrants mainly come from Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia. They were reportedly held by a "notorious trafficker" named "Mousa Diab". Libya has been the main source of African Illegal migrants to Europe. During the Summer time, the flow of migrants significantly increases.
