Deviating from Sirāt Mustaqīm; The Role of an Imam; 8th Imam's Travels - Maulana Syed Muhammad Rizvi

Imam ar-Riza (a) was the most famous Imam due to his long journey across Arabia and Iran all the way to Marv which is now in Turkmenistan. Talking about the importance of maintaining the faith and being vigilant against the deviation from the left and the right. There are three groups: the blessed group which is on sirāt mustaqīm, the right path that it is in the middle. Then you have the two extremes on both sides: one group is under Allah’s wrath and the other is misguided. The role of the Imam is to correct the deviation whether it is towards one extreme or the other.
