Abstract of the speech: A vaccine to protect against COVID-19 is expected shortly. There are so many types of vaccines, will they all protect us? Do we still need to follow all precautions after taking the vaccine. Come to talk to get your questions about the status of vaccines answered. About the Speaker: Dr. Sandhya Koushika completed her B.Sc and M.Sc in Biology at MS University, Vadodara. She did her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Brandeis University, Boston, MA, USA. She continued her research by doing post-doctoral work at Washington University. She was a faculty member of the National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore before she moved to TIFR, Mumbai. Sandhya’s current research is on the study of traffic within nerve cells, called axonal transport.
