White Desert, Egypt - 2 Days/1Night Camping

What an AWESOME camping trip in the White Desert. Slightly rated above the Giza day tour! . Stopped Black Desert, Aqabat Valley, a short dip in the Springs, Crystal Mountain. On our way, we got a flat tire, but the other tour guides in other 4x4s stopped to help, and we were on our way fairly quickly. We all took the opportunity to take photos in the middle of the road, LOL . The journey to our camp site was an adventure in itself as our tour guide/driver drove the 4x4 through the sandy desert. I got to try sand boarding, which is not the same as snow, and there's no chairlifts, so you have to walk back up. . We got to our campsite just in time to see the sunset and enjoyed the scenery while Badr, our driver/tour guide and chef, cooked us a delicious dinner with Egyptian fried rice, vegetables and bbq chicken. Then we had two types of tea after dinner around the campfire and chatted about many things. . We all decided not to sleep in tents and just slept under the beautiful star-studded clear sky. Woke up just in time to see the sunrise while Badr made us breakfast. The drive back was just as fun with more stops for photo opportunities.
