Top 10 Clint Eastwood Movies of All Time
In this video, we will rank and explore Clint Eastwood's 10 greatest movies. Perhaps no one in movie history, outside of maybe John Wayne, has better personified the gruff cowboy stereotype than Clint Eastwood. And that's because across his various western classics, he’s pretty much defined what it should be. Need any evidence of this? Just look at his work in the acclaimed Dollars Trilogy of A Fistful of Dollars, For A Few Dollars More, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, or his TV appearances in the likes of Rawhide. And if that doesn’t do it for you, look at the later work he did in the western genre in projects such as Hang ‘Em High, The Outlaw Josey Wales, and Unforgiven. But that’s not the only great work Clint Eastwood has done during his career as outside of the western genre he’s created further classics with the likes of Where Eagles Dare, Escape from Alcatraz, and Dirty Harry, each of which saw him have to tackle a different flavour of movie. And then there’s his directorial work, something which is hall of fame worthy in its own right. Yes, we could talk about The Bridges of Madison County, Mystic River, Gran Torino, Letters From Iwo Jima, or any number of the brilliant movies he’s sat behind the camera on. We could even talk about the aforementioned Unforgiven and The Outlaw Josey Wales. Whatever movie you’re talking about with regards to Clint Eastwood though, you can pretty much be guaranteed it’s going to be one worth watching as he rarely if ever fails to deliver.
