It is software designed to do bad things to your computer. Viruses are designed to attach themselves to a program. When the program is used, the virus goes into action. The virus could wipe out data, send spam e-mails, and more depend on how it was written. Some estimate put the number of new viruses release at around 100,000 or more each week. Trojan Horses Complete are designed to look like a harmless program. They are typically downloaded intentionally by the unsuspecting user. What the user doesn't know if that the program has a nefarious side as well. A worm unlike a virus this is a standalone program. It can travel from machine to other machines through a network. They commonly infect systems because of security flaws.
