NAZARETH | Brief tour of the Basilica of the Annunciation

The Basilica of the Annunciation is one of the holiest sites in Christianity, as it is believed to be the place where the angel Gabriel visited Mary and announced that she would conceive and bear the Son of God. The basilica is located in Nazareth, Israel, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this video, we take a tour of the Basilica of the Annunciation, starting with the lower church, which is built over the grotto where the Annunciation is believed to have taken place. We then ascend to the upper church, which is a stunning example of modern architecture. The upper church is filled with beautiful mosaics depicting scenes from the Bible, and the views from the windows are breathtaking.
