Attack on Titan: The Special Chapters (Part 2) | Official Trailer 1+2 Mix
Pony Canyon has released yesterday a new trailer for "Attack on Titan: The Final Season (Part 4)". I'm incredibly excited for the new footage we've seen, but one thing that I believe could have been done better for the PV released so far is the music choice for background ("Into the Night" for the previous and "True History" for this one). I simply think that the final episodes of "Attack on Titan" deserve a marketing that can deliver more adrenalinic and iconic music. I don't consider myself a good clip editor, but I took this chance to make my edited and combined version of both trailers and making a few adjustments, which I'll list down here. First of all, I chose for background music the track "ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn -TFSv-". The first half of this song was already featured in the PV for "The Final Season - Part 2", so I instead used the second half, which is really fitting for the fast-paced cuts and shots shown in the trailer. I made a few edits of the track just to make it fit the timing of the trailer. Secondly, I added two credit frames which I was surprised didn't appear at all in the trailers. One is for Studio MAPPA, right at the beginning of the video (0:04), the other is for director Yūichirō Hayashi (0:15). I tried to also add one for score composers Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano, but I couldn't find a fitting way to include that too. Lastly, I removed or changed just a few things for this video. I removed two shots from the second PV: one is a close-up of Eren's Titan Form face, which had already appeared at the end of "Part 3", and a short scene of Mikasa flying with her ODM gear, which was already showed in the first PV. And finally, the logo of "Attack on Titan: The Final Season" (appearing at 0:42) actually comes from the PV of "TFS - Part 2". I prefered using it because I find it better looking and suggestive, and also because I needed a shot that was just a couple seconds longer to allow the music to fade in a more natural way rather than cutting it abruptly. I'm aware that some shots doesn't look well actually in high quality. I ripped the videos directly from Youtube and currently I have no way to improve that. I hope it isn't too noticable and that you're able to enjoy it anyway! ------ Sources: 1.
