On this episode of Foxtrot Adventures, we explore Kitch-Iti-Kipi, Michigan’s largest freshwater spring, located near Manistique, Michigan. The spring, also known as “Mirror of Heaven,” is more than 40 feet deep, 200 feet across, and its crystal-clear water is emerald, green in color. Featured at the park is a clear bottom hand-operated raft that allows you to traverse the natural spring while you watch approximately 10,000 gallons of water per minute gush up from small cracks in the underlying limestone. Submerged cedar logs, preserved by both minerals and a constant 45-degree temperature… line the edges of the spring. You can also catch a glimpse of big lake trout as they swim. We really enjoyed watching this! https://www.uptravel.com/things-to-do... #foxtrotadventures #upperpeninsula #michigan
