TODAY’S READINGS First Reading — Is 7:10-14 Psalm — Ps 24:1-6 Second Reading — Rm 1: 1-7 Gospel Reading — Mt 1:18-24 Fourth Sunday of Advent As we celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Advent, we enter the final days of preparation for Christmas. Advent has been leading us step by step, not simply toward a feast on the calendar, but toward a deeper readiness of heart to welcome Christ into our lives. Today’s Gospel invites us to contemplate the mystery of Jesus’ birth from the perspective of Saint Joseph. Unlike Mary, Joseph speaks no words in the Gospel, yet his faith speaks loudly through his actions. Faced with confusion, fear, and uncertainty, Joseph chooses trust over understanding and obedience over control. He listens to God’s voice in the silence of a dream and responds with courage and humility. In Joseph, we see that true faith does not always have all the answers, but it dares to move forward with God. As Christmas draws near, may we, like Joseph, open our hearts to God’s plan and welcome Emmanuel—God with us—into our lives. #catholicmass #21December2025 #LIVESTREAM #HolyCross #Frhenrysiew #Frandrewlin #FrJohnKing #FrAnthonyHo #CardinalWilliamGoh #fourthSundayofadvent #HolyMass
