His father's name was Raja Abdullah Bhatti who was living in Hong Kong for employment. Aziz Bhatti spent his childhood with his sibling in Hong Kong and received his primary education from there. When World War II broke out, Hong Kong was also affected. Due to the circumstances, his family members decided to return to Pakistan from Hong Kong and returned to their ancestral village of Ladhiyan, located in Gujarat district. There he got married and joined the All India Army. In 1955, when Raja Aziz Bhatti became captain, he was sent to Quetta for further training, where he secured first position in the examination. After this success, he was sent to Canada for further courses, and was also promoted in rank. On the day of the passing out parade, Shaheed-e-Milat Liaquat Ali Khan presented him with a gold medal, time marched on and so the year 1965 came. One day, Raja Aziz Bhatti was spending time with his family on vacation. One morning in August, he suddenly received a message informing him that the vacation had been cancelled. Major Aziz Bhatti's children were brave like him and asked: "Papa, is there going to be a war?" Aziz Bhatti, as always, faced the reality and said: "Looks like war will happen", the enemy attacked Pakistan in the dark of night on 6 September. But the enemy didn't know that he was facing a brave soldier like Major Aziz Bhatti, on the day of the incident, Major Aziz Bhatti with his handful of men was ready at the front of Barki. Two of his platoons were stationed on the banks of the BRB canal, and when the enemy attack began, Major Aziz Bhatti led his men. Their courage did not waver, and they met the onslaught of the enemy with firm and surprising fortitude. During the war of 1965, Raja Aziz Bhatti protected his homeland with great valor and courage. He defeated the enemy in Lahore and forced many enemy soldiers to flee. Only 11 Pakistani soldiers were martyred by their interesting and daring unique attacks, while thousands of enemy soldiers died in hell. Major Aziz Bhatti, regardless of sleep and hunger, continued to bravely fight against the enemy. A young man boldly came to them and said, "I am watching them. You should eat." Major Aziz Bhatti replied, "The enemy is facing us, we cannot retreat." Airman Akram said, "Sir, I am also a good soldier and I can target and fire." Major Aziz Bhatti had barely taken a few bites when the airstrikes on the range indicated by the airman missed. Major Aziz Bhatti immediately grabbed the binoculars and aimed at the right spot. The enemy fled after some time. Major Aziz Bhatti with only 150 youths had crushed the enemy's teeth. Only 11 youths of Pakistan were martyred while thousands of enemy soldiers went to hell. Before sunrise on the morning of 12 September, Raja Aziz Bhatti established prayers, the last morning of his life. While enjoying tea with Subedar Ghulam Muhammad, Major Aziz Bhatti extended his hand to Subedar and asked "Is martyrdom in my destiny?" Sabidar, who was also familiar with hands, replied, "Sir, martyrdom is in your destiny, but the time of this rank is not known when you will get it." "I tell you, the time is very near," said Major Aziz Bhatti. In the meantime, the enemy launched another attack, but Major Aziz Bhatti, without caring for his life, attacked the enemy on the vine and stalled numerous tanks. It was still raining bullets from the front, and bullets were passing right and left. Sobedar Akram said "Sir, you are in the firing range, let's come down to the front", to which Major Aziz Sahib replied "If this country has to be sacrificed, what can be more?" Major Aziz Bhatti had no fear in the face of the enemy with the light of love for his country in his heart. He continued to fight against the enemy with his smooth and courageous disposition. In the meantime, the enemy had seen you and the Indian gunner had turned the tank towards you, he had just raised his binoculars to attack again when the tank's burning shell hit you in the chest, and thus the duty. And the great soldier of Pakistan was martyred because of Sajat had reached the place of martyrdom which he had always cherished in his heart. The government awarded him the highest military honor "Nishan Haider" in recognition of courage and bravery. Even today the name of Major Aziz Bhatti is alive in our hearts. The day of his martyrdom was September 12, when he was standing guard in Lahore and responding to hostile firing.
