Extended Cleveland weather forecast: Rain today but temperatures will hit highs around 90 on Friday

Cleveland weather will be rainy today! Grab an umbrella before you leave the house today because we're tracking some wet weather. “The rain moves in later and the timing does look like it is going to have an impact on dinner, commutes home and the start of the Guardians game," says 3News meteorologist Hollie Strano. While this won't be severe weather or storms, Strano said it is going to be a steady rain for a few hours before it moves out. “We could see a few spotty showers ahead of the main batch throughout the afternoon hours, but we really see some steady rains this evening.” Highs will be around 65. But then... Big changes begin Thursday as we dry out with highs surging into the upper 70s. Not warm enough? Conditions will be hot on Friday as highs hit near 90 degrees -- which is early for this time of year. “On average, the first 90-degree high is on June 22," Strano said. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Increasing clouds with rain into the afternoon and evening. Mid 60s. THURSDAY: A mix of sun and clouds. Mid to upper 70s. FRIDAY: Hot. Around 90.
