Few things 'more important than symptomatic Victorians getting tested': Andrews

Premier Daniel Andrews has again pleaded with Victorians to continue getting tested regardless of the positive downward trend in coronavirus cases across the state. "Apart from following the rules, which, of course, is something that we all have to do, there's arguably nothing more important than symptomatic Victorians coming forward and getting a test,” he said. “This moves so rapidly that getting tested when you first register the symptoms is critically important. “So again, can I ask every single Victorian, regardless of where you are, regardless of your circumstances, even the mildest of symptoms, please come forward and get tested. Don't delay but for a day or two. Mr Andrews thanked those residents who presented themselves for testing at the weekend, revealing there was an uptick in testing numbers at the weekend in comparison with past weeks with more than 9000 tests conducted. The state recorded 15 new infections and one death overnight.
