"There are two ways to update the vehicle’s phonebook, automatically or manually. If compatible, the phonebook entries on your phone will begin transferring to the vehicle immediately after the phone is first connected. If this doesn’t happen automatically, you can take a few simple steps to initiate the process. Press the SETTING button on the control panel and then touch the PHONE key on the display screen. The AUTO DOWNLOADED key should have an amber indicator next to the word ON. Touch this key to toggle the feature on if necessary. Up to 1000 entries can be automatically transferred to the vehicle. These entries can be accessed by touching PHONEBOOK on the phone main menu screen. The Voice Recognition system assigns tags to these entries for voice command dialing. The entire transfer process can take up to five minutes to complete, depending on the size of the handset phonebook. For more information, please see the manufacturer’s Owner’s Manual that came with your cellular phone. If the phonebook does not automatically download, you can manually create entries in the QUICK DIAL. To do this, press the PHONE/SEND button on the steering wheel and then touch QUICK DIAL on the display screen. Next, touch the ADD NEW key and choose a method for entering a phone number. For example, touch ENTER NUMBER BY KEYPAD to input the phone number using a keypad on the touchscreen. Once the number is entered, touch VOICETAG to record a voicetag for dialing with the Voice Recognition system. After the phonebook entry is saved, a screen appears that allows you to call the number. Touch BACK to return to the QUICK DIAL and repeat the steps for each number you’d like to store. Please see your Owner’s Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information. "
